Self hypno in AP?

Howdy folks!
I heard people can place hypnotic suggestions in their own subconsciousness in a LD.
Is that also possible with AP or OBE? Heard of a dude that summoned his own brain while LD. And a woman appeared before him, he then spoke with the woman in order to make a deal i.e placing hypnotic suggestions.

If I'm APing or OBEing can I summon my brain and/or subsconsciousness by saying brain/sc come to me. Just like the dude? Because that's how he did it in a LD.
How does that works out?
