My Journal. Brian D.

Post by preist_light »

Reading, lots of it....the phase.

Go to bed with clarity of intent
If I become conscious that I am dreaming try to separate from body. Is so proceed to mirror.

If no dream then as awakening remain motionless with eyes closed. Try 1 or 3 preselected techniques to leave body

Try technique for 5 seconds max, if no response move to the next technique

When I get any response continue till separation. Upon separate go to mirror , if senses aren't clear deepening will help.

More later..think I'm off to a good start.

Well, I went to bed with intention had the plan well rehearsed, I woke up, went bathroom after 6 hours of sleep. Laid down and was ready to start the sequence next time I woke up. I never did, nor did I have any dreams either. So I will try again tonight.:-)

Had my first lucid dream last night in many years. As I was dream in I realized I was dreaming and had control of dream. I did not try to separate because the dream was sexual in content and my feelings and thoughts were else where so to speak.

I am thrilled I had the lucid dream its been many years since I dreamt like that, I used to lucid dream all the time. As I've gotten older however it has diminished.

So I think I am making head way anyhow (that was a pun)
