Been catching a few awakenings lately so have been experimenting with separation. Haven't been able to separate into a dream, but have experienced some visual hallucinations after waking so will polish up on the cycling techniques.

Went to bed with high hopes last night but no progress. More tonight.

You might find this interesting: http://gnosticteachings.org/the-teachin ... f-sol.html
Go down the page where he explains the "key of sol", which is: subject, object, location.
It's a practice to do during the day, aiming to develop a constant state of awareness which will extend to the dreams.
It's the most effective technique I've found in years, to awake into dreams. Also it's very cool to practice, because brings altered states of perception while you're awake.
Just a suggestion!
