Richard Wiseman is involved. Sounds like they are at the very early stages of their research. Hopefully it will get more and more people interested in lucid dreaming.

Thanks for sharing this.  Another way to influence our dreams is dream incubation but it doesn't always guarantee results.  Lucid dreaming is known to provide more control over them. 

Stephen LaBerge gives more importance to controlling the way we react to dream content than controlling the dreams themselves.  Perhaps finding a balance between the two is wise.  On one hand we could control our dreams for satisfaction and on the other we could pay more attention to how we react in certain situations.  Learning to control our behaviour is ultimately beneficial in waking life.
